Introduction
South Africa is highly respected in the medical profession. The first heart
transplant was performed in Cape Town.
All surgeons that have excellent credentials and are registered with the South
African Medical Association (SAMA) and the Association
of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons of South Africa.
Our selected surgeons are highly respected both in South Africa and internationally,
using the best technology, giving a very personal service in patient care
and professionalism.
NU LOOK only recommends surgeons that are registered with these associations.
Please see Surgeons & Clinics for a complete list of profiles.
Once you have completed an initial General enquiry form your concerns and
questions are answered.
On completing a Booking / medical history form the surgery / procedure
is finalised and a surgeon is allocated who best suits your needs.
Photographs will be required and may be e-mailed if you have the facility.
Alternatively these may be mailed to us, and we will return them to you. Confidentiality
is assured over a secure web connection. This information is to allow the
surgeon and specialists to give an evaluation.
Should there be a requirement for a telephone consultation, for any reason,
we will arrange this.
We advise you to be in Cape Town at least two to three days prior to your
surgery/procedure being scheduled. During that time we will have arranged
a consultation with the surgeon. You will understand why the surgeons and
specialists are so highly recommended. You will be treated by everyone with
compassion, kindness and concern for your total well-being.
We will communicate with you frequently before your arrival, prior to your
surgery and after your surgery. You will be met at the airport and driven
to your accommodation. You will be chauffeured to your consultation and after
your recuperation back to your accommodation.
All information is treated with the strictest confidence. Any electronic
data received is secure and confidential.
